Members of our association recently partnered with Lincoln Children’s Zoo to help provide food for giraffes during the winter. Our Commons are home to a few well-established willow trees. As part of normal tree maintenance, we’ve pruned away overgrowth and provided the trimmings to the zoo to use and freeze. We are very pleased to be able to help such a great local organization and find a way to recycle more of what we take out of the Commons.
